How does the Giving System work?
This is a website where you can give to Pennies in a Pond Gift Activity to help disadvantaged children, the disabled, and our elders. All donation records are stored and accessible at any time. Our website is safe and secure.
Can I cancel a donation?
Tax-deductible charitable contributions made to Pennies in a Pond website are irrevocable. If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact our customer service immediately and we will review your case individually. It is a gift.
I would like to donate clothes, cars, real estate, or other items to Pennies in a Pond Gift Activity.
Your in-kind donation gift will be accept and used to benefit the charity and our mission.
What are recurring donations?
A recurring donation is a pre-authorized arrangement in which a donor authorizes Pennies in a Pond Gift Activity to make a donation against a specific credit card account, for a specified donation amount. Donors can set up monthly, quarterly, or annual recurring donations. At this time, recurring donations can only be processed using American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.
How do I set up a recurring donation?
Setting up a recurring donation on P.I.A.P.G.A. is easy. Pennies in a Pond Gift Activity Web site features a Giving Cart (i.e., "shopping cart"), which enables you to make a single donation, multiple donations or a recurring donation to Pennies in a Pond...all in one visit. You will be asked to create a Profile for future giving, as a way for you to save your contact information and to store your donation history for future reference.
What is the frequency of a recurring donation?
Donors can set up recurring donations to occur monthly, quarterly or yearly.
How do I cancel a recurring donation?
Donors can cancel a recurring donation pledge at any time by going to My Recurring Donations under My Profile. Click on the edit button for the recurring donation
Can I change the amount of my recurring donation?
You can change the amount of your recurring donation pledge at any time by going to My Recurring Donations and clicking on the edit button for the recurring donation pledge you wish to change. Changes will be reflected on any future donation installments.
Will I receive notification when a recurring donation I have set up is made?
Each time you are charged, you will receive an email receipt from Paypal for your records. You may also view your previous donations within your Donation History.
Is there an additional cost for recurring donations?
No. Like with normal donations, donors may choose to cover the 4.75% tax-deductible grant during the donation process or have it deducted from the donation amount. Whichever option you choose will be reflected in subsequent recurring donations. Pennies in a Pond does not profit from processing costs.
